In preparation for travel, one must keep onesself posted on the latest developments in airline security. We've all heard about the prohibition on various liquids and gels--My Special Place had her cocoa butter confiscated during her flight. So I decided to check the
TSA website to see what items I'll have to do without, or at least keep in my checked luggage. The real question was about deoderant--allowed, as long as it's not a gel or aerosol type--but as I scrolled down the page, I noticed a curious "yes" in the "allowed in carry-on" column.
For personal lubricant.
Up to four ounces.
Yep, the TSA has just that much respect for the mile high club. Cocoa butter is a menace to our air travel security, but lube is a go. You've gotta see this one to believe it.
